This was perfect for my wife and I, who enjoy reading before bedtime. Being cordless enabled us to install it over our bed. It took about 10 minutes to install. With two independent LED lights, we can adjust them to our preferred setting, and when one of us is ready to sleep, we can turn ours off and the other one can read. Due to the LED light, it will not interfere with the one going to sleep. Though a little pricey, we still love it. Whoever designed it needs a feather in their cap!!!!

Brightness is a really big problem with this item. I purchased this item for my fiancee for her makeup vanity in our bedroom. It looks fantastic but doesn't provide enough light. I do not recommend this product. It simply doesn't perform well.

I like the design of the light, however, the bulbs do not throw enough light for comfortable reading. Even in a dark room, the light is quite dim and requires eye strain, at least with my eyes.

Over the bed dual LED lamp is perfect for two people and their reading habits. One can read while the other sleeps. Two lamps are adjustable and slide along a 42.75" track as well as adjust side to side. Each lamp bulb swivels to illuminate exactly where it is aimed. Since this is battery operated there are no cords or wires. Separate on/off switch for each lamp and both can be dimmed easily. Easy to install, if you can hang a picture, you can install this lamp! Actual fixture weight 1.2 lbs. Total dimensions 42.75" with 15" of sliding track on each side and 12.75" in center to hide/hold (4) "D" batteries (not included).
