Nice styling and quality. Would have likely worked well on electric stove but the plastic whistle/cap melted after two uses on my gas stove.

My old tea kettle is falling apart. I dropped it a while back, so that it no longer whistles loud enough when the water is boiling. As I result I often boiled the water almost completely away, wasting energy and water. So I decided to buy another one that is similar to the old one I have. This tea kettle is very similar to my old one, with a lid that I can remove to fill the kettle, a plastic handle and it whistles when the water is boiling. The metal of this one is quite thin, thinner than my old one. Hopefully it will last. So far I am happy with it.
